Huey P. Newton was a legend in his own time. I witnessed it. Huey was truly a remarkable human being that we witnessed. Huey was fearless with undying love for the people. Even at this time, I am amazed what Huey and Bobby did. The word is that the military industrial complex paid more money to fight the brothers and sister than spent on the Vietnam War. The love that the people, globally, had for Huey and the Black Panther Party for Self Defense was revolutionary beauty. We were told that Huey was being subject to chinese brainwashing techniques while in prison, but I know that I didn’t understand what it was and how well it worked. We just didn’t understand mind control and it had been in secret perfection by some of the best minds in the world for almost three or four decades before Huey went to prison. They have not stopped and the extent of what they did to Huey remains shrouded and veiled.

I qualified my statement that Leo Bazile was the first chairman of Soul Students Advisory Council strictly on my personal recall. As for Ken Freeman of the Black Panther Party of Northern California, he was there. He was a remarkable intelligent individual that had a great impression on me on campus. I will never forget Ken Freeman, Isaac Moore, Bobby Seale, Huey P. Newton, and Ernie Allen. As a Manchild, these were fearless and courageous young men that I wanted to be so much like in knowledge, character, and courage. As for being a revisionist of history, I was like a fly on the wall of the history that I witnessed and I will defend my right of recall and interpretion of that history against anyone.
